We've recently created a new platform for players to submit feedback to the development team. The feedback.keenswh.com page provides the possibility to let your voice be heard, or to vote for an idea that the team needs to look at and consider implementing.
How does it work?
You need to be registered on the Keen Software House store page. You can then use those credentials for login to the feedback page (feedback.keenswh.com). If you are not registered yet, you can do it here: https://shop.keenswh.com/user/Register.aspx
For the login, use your email address and password.
Submitting the idea:
The feedback page is simple and easy to use. You can submit your idea, or leave a comment on other ideas but only if you are logged in. To submit your idea, simply click on ‘Post a new idea’ in the right navigation menu. This will bring you to a simple form, where you enter the title, category, subcategory and the description of your idea. There are several general subcategories already predefined, you will need to select one of them. Click submit for your idea to be sent to the team for review.
Try to create short and simple ideas as the more complicated the idea is, the lower chance that people will vote it.
The beginning of the review process:
Once you submit your idea, it goes to the admin team for review. We hope, that you’ll understand that the review is important to keep only valuable ideas to be posted, as well as keeping the focus on the game itself. The review is a simple process where the team checks if there are no duplicates of the ideas, if the input is relevant to the game and if there is any offensive or inappropriate text.
Status of the ideas:
After the review is completed you will see your idea as ‘Considered’. There are several statuses for each idea: Declined, Considered, Planned, Started and Completed. Of course, it represents which state the submission is from a development point of view.
If you submit an idea or vote and comment on someone else's idea, you will automatically get a notification via email when there is new activity on that submission. This way, you are kept up to date with progress without having to check the page again and again.
Voting helps to prioritize users’ ideas. By using the simple voting system, you can increase the rank of a particular idea. Once an idea has the considered status, you can see it on the feedback page and will be able to vote for it. There are 20 voting points available to each player and it’s purely up to you how to distribute them. Having more votes on your idea, can bring it forward on the list. This gives your idea a higher chance to receive the proper attention from the team at Keen Software House. Once an idea is completed, you will get back the number of points you used for voting on this idea which you can then use on other/new ideas.
We are looking forward to your feedback and hope you’ll enjoy the new platform.
