Welcome to our Creator spotlight!
Continuing our series of Space Engineers Creator Spotlights with Darth411.

“When I started playing this random space sim game a decade ago, I never thought it would be the spark that would start me on this incredible creative journey today. My friends and I played Space Engineers for a couple dozen hours on release and then naturally moved on. A video from Captain Shack of Xoc’s weaponcore tournaments brought us back to the game two years ago. After spotting the potential for PvP in such a sandbox game, while being able to show off the awesome work of so many weapon modders, we were hooked for the next several years.
The greatest part of joining the StarCore scene for me was nothing to do with the fun events, but rather the incredible community it formed! Not wanting to just be a participant, it inspired me to learn video editing so that I could create the StarCore YouTube channel. Everyone around me was so helpful in sharing what they know, and that continued naturally into modding for weaponcore, as my new friends were happy to share more and more. This continued on to Blender and I started to learn 3d modeling from the amazing people around me! Even outside of just the StarCore folks, the greater SE modding community has been breathtaking in their willingness to share and teach.
My modding has been a culmination of the work that so many others have put into Space Engineers. I actually don’t know any coding, I don’t even know how to do scripting in SE! Thanks to weaponcore I can make the variety of weapons in my mod packs. Thanks to the particle editor plugin I was able to make those weapons look as cool as I could. Thanks to SEUT I was able to import all these models from Blender. Thanks to the custom suit mod I was able to do some character modding. Thanks to the work and APIs of all these people, even someone with no coding knowledge like myself has been able to create awesome stuff for this game, and I don’t plan on stopping soon! I have many more plans for mods that are in progress, inspired by my favorite grim-dark setting.
Even if my newfound passion for creating in Blender grows to something outside of SE modding, I will be forever grateful for the amazing community of people that helped me find this passion.“

Necron vs Imperium | Warhammer 40K Battlefleet Gothic ExhibitionA thruster pack made for you to show off the power of your empire! The models are not completely accurate to SW versions, this due to a few reasons one being to make them fit SE aesthetics, easier to use in builds, and game engine restrictions. |
