Creator Spotlight: Noisy

Welcome to our Creator spotlight!

Continuing our series of Space Engineers Creator Spotlights with Noisy.

“I was introduced to Space Engineers by a friend of mine in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdowns. I played it on my school laptop, which could barely handle the game, but once I bought myself a PC, I got hooked. It was the game that brought me into the PC gaming world, where I’ve met amazing people and made long-lasting friendships. I played almost every single day, learning the game’s mechanics and building on my knowledge. It’s led to a consistent drive to learn not only the mechanics of the game but in the world of engineering. After watching the Battlefield 1 trailer and the Volantis cinematic by The Swack, I decided to give my hand at making cinematics and fell in love with the creative process, each video a chance to improve on my skills and make a better video than the last.

It is not an overstatement to say that space engineers have been a doorway to my interests, friendships and my love in engineering. It has been so influential in my development that I believe it played a key role in the subjects I picked in high school, and eventually to today, where I am pursuing an engineering degree. I still play Space Engineers to this day, still making videos and in the process of learning to program so that I can make my own scripts. I’m not sure where I will be in the future, but wherever I end up, I will always carry that drive to learn that the developers at Keen have given me.”

Thank You Keen

As the title suggests, this video is a bit of a memento; it showcases iconic builds with my way as the track.

This was not just a thanks to Keen but to the community as well.

BAD IDEAS

This is my most popular video at the moment, and was made as a bit of a homage to my video “I’ve been everywhere”, which was the first video I put proper time and effort into and look back on fondly.

Birds of War

A video directly inspired by the Volantis V5 trailer, this was a push of what I could do in-game. I used and learnt new tools and started to look into cinematography.

Everybody Wants To Rule The World

In this video, I got a controller to make smooth camera movements, and I also made use of the slow-mo plugin, this was yet another chance to learn and use new tools and methods.

It was also a chance to show off my ground force builds.

This is War

After watching the F-14 launch trailer for DCS, I decided I had to make another video using the music Heatblur did. After a crazed filming and editing spree, I made this video and learned how to make some nifty camera transitions.
